February 17th
Talk on Antarctica
Jane Frampton will tell us about her trip to Antarctica.
This will be an open meeting

March 31st 1.30pm
Visit to Shoemakers Museum
A visit to the newly-opened Shoemakers Museum in Street for a guided tour of the highlights of the museum, followed by time to peruse the collection at your leisure for the remainder of the day.

Advance booking required - £10 for members
£14 for visitors, space permitting.

April 21st
Arts and Crafts Social Evening
A chance for members to share with others some of the art and craft activities that interest them.
All are invited to bring along their work - we’d love to see what you’ve created.

May 19th
The Wells in Mosaic Project
Ruth Ames-White will talk to us about the art project that has created a wonderful mosaic depicting the city of Wells for display in the centre of the city.
This will be an open meeting

Open Garden Visit
Join us on a visit to a local garden open for charity and enjoy a relaxed stroll amongst some beautiful flowers in (hopefully) the summer sun. And maybe indulge in a cuppa and cake too.

July 21st
Wildlife Themed Talk
Details are still to be confirmed but we aim to arrange a wildlife-related talk in the village hall on this evening.
This will be an open meeting

A Visit to Midelney Manor
A visit to Midelney Manor, a stunning Elizabethan manor house in Langport, for a guided tour of the house and a cream tea.

September - No Meeting
No official meeting but it may be possible to arrange an ad hoc social get together.

October 20th
The Brick and Tile Museum
Marie Emmerson from the Brick and Tile Museum in Bridgwater will tell us about the history of the brick and tile industry in Somerset.
This will be an open meeting

Christmas Wreath Making
A Christmas wreath making event at a local venue or in the village hall to get us in the mood for the festive season.

No official meeting but we aim to have an informal "Christmassy" get together at a local venue.
